“They say a picture is worth a thousand words… but it takes a true artist to compose the description.”

These last few days in Italy.. have really got me thinking….

~ We’re still the same people… just older, a bit wiser, and a hell of a lot more unique. ~

Culture has entered our lives, showed us it’s differences, and the world as we have seen it. It has planted a fire in our minds, and an unexplainable passion in our hearts. We have discovered who we are and who we’re not, and a simplistic revelation that that is okay. Our determination to be, comes from within. We can move on and not be bothered by the little things that come our way, as the greater one’s prevail…

chase after dreams and be not afraid to fail. Climb new heights for an opportunity to find something in yourself that had always been there. And then… sit back and take it all in one last time..

yea.. we’re still all the same, but wouldn’t it be a shame to think of ourselves in that explicit sense, after all this time.. after all we have seen and done. I know I sure don’t, and I have myself to thank for that.

Sometimes.. it’s not about what you want, it’s about what I want for a change

Why can’t it just be about what I want for a change.. it’s always about you and what you want. Well.. there’s a lot of things that I want too. but then again you never even ask me what I want, so why would I feel like it even matters? I’ve been so busy worrying about how to please you, that I don’t even have time to think about my own needs for once. Seriously, thanks for the concern.. but I think I can handle myself from here without all your baggage. It’s been too long, and you’ve been a true gem in my life. It’s not worth the stress.

“The average person is always curious as to why someone would want to be a night owl. Well, my opinion, is that creative, free-thinking people might like being night owls. That’s why I do. When you’re up at 3 AM writing, and it’s so dark that your vision gets acclimated to the blackness, and the boundaries of your skin fade into oblivion, and you are simply a body-less soul transferring words from mind to screen—well it just doesn’t get any better than that. Plus…the moon rocks my socks.”
